2010 FIA Awards

The FIA Awards were held at Emporers Palace on Thursday the 3RD June 2010.  It was a great privilege for SAUMA and our members to be part of the celebrations and for the first time to be on the recipient end of the award ceremony.  This was the first year that the FIA decided, this was based on request from their members to include the SAUMA members in their annual award ceremony.  The members were requested to submit broker listings and based on an extensive survey, process managed by an independent research company called  Bluestream, the surveys were conducted and the following companies were nominated as the top 3 Underwriting Managers in South Africa :

MUA Insurance Acceptances (Pty) Ltd;

1-Com Underwriting Managers (Pty) Ltd; and

Commercial & Industrial Acceptances (Pty) Ltd was awarded Underwriting Manager of the Year

The Evening was attended by over 1000 quests and  Jannie Moolman was our host for the evening which just added the extra cherry on the top for a very enjoyable, glamorous and fun evening.

We are very proud of our members and thankful for the recognition in the industry.  Once again a step in the right direction for SAUMA and making sure that our members and their valuable contribution to the industry are recognised.
